Drinks above the skyline

Singapore’s rooftop bars are among the best in Asia. Order a cocktail and watch the skyline glow from dozens of floors up.

Great settings

  • Sky bars in the Marina Bay and Raffles Place towers
  • Rooftop terraces in Clarke Quay and Chinatown for a more relaxed vibe
  • Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark area for the iconic bay panorama

Insider tip: Many rooftop bars have a smart-casual dress code and fill up fast after sunset. Book a table or arrive early.

Cocktail culture

Speakeasies and craft bars

The city is a serious cocktail destination. Hidden bars and shophouse speakeasies pour drinks built around pandan, calamansi and other local flavours.

Where to go

  • Amoy Street, Club Street and Duxton Hill in Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar
  • Gin bars and Art Deco lounges around Bugis and Kampong Glam
  • The Singapore Sling, a classic to try once, at the bar where it was invented

Insider tip: Ask the bartender for something with local ingredients. They love to recommend.
